Homeopathy
A long-established debate exists amongst homeopathic practitioners about the relative values of a purist classical approach to homeopathy, opposed to a modern and practical approach to homeopathy. Thankfully, patients don't much care for this philosophical debate, as long as their treatment makes them feel better.
For those who are interested, my background is in the modern practical approach to homeopathy. Both classical and practical approaches seek to perceive what needs to be cured in a patient, and treating the root of the cause of dis-ease where possible. A practical approach best serves to meet the needs of the patient; it employs a flexible and analytical approach, focusing on results and not on ideology to assist the healing process.
