The body reflects to us what is going on within; it has wonderful way of showing us that something is out of balance and needs our attention. Sometimes we choose to ignore these signs, or we can even think that they're 'normal', as perhaps our experience not to experience anything different. In fact, we can grow to accept our dis-harmonious feelings or physical sensations no matter how they may nag us.
So too the mind can distract us from who we are and can reinforce negative beliefs and positions about ourselves, and help to shape and limit our experience of life. In truth, we are not the thoughts of the mind, we are not conditions we experience, nor are we the sensations or emotions we feel. Thoughts, emotions and physical issues create division within, and reinforce the illusion of a separate 'I'. The energy patterns held in the body and mind trap us in the illusion of separation from Joy, the 'Self' and the Divine. What is Integrative Healing Therapy? Integrative therapy is a holistic approach to restoring a person's wellness by using a variety of therapies that address the needs of the body, mind and spirit. Taking an integrative approach to address imbalance creates an interactive, synergistic effect to healing.
Imbalance is expressed when there is a problem in the system, when physical symptoms, thoughts and emotions are suppressed, ignored or reinforced. We all aspire to have good health and well-being, but sometimes we need a helping hand from time to time.
